Wash hands to ensure that nails are completely free of any natural oils and apply a coat of Easy Remove Base Coat to the nail, leaving a gap of approximately 2mm from the nail’s edge on all sides (see diagram below). Allow to dry completely; the product will become clear. Complete your manicure as normal, ensuring that your polish covers the edges of the product to form a seal. We recommend still using a regular base coat such as our Bonding Base Coat over Easy Remove Base Coat as this product doesn’t guard against staining.
Alternatively, you can apply Easy Remove Base Coat to your entire nail, however your polish may only last 24 hours using this method.
There are several methods for removal. Which one works for you may depend on your nail chemistry as not all methods will work for everyone.
Gently lift the polish from the cuticle edge, breaking the seal, and peel off. This method will work most effectively if you have applied Easy Remove Base Coat to your whole nail.
Take a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover and run it along the cuticle edge to break the seal formed by the polish. Using a rubber-tipped cuticle pusher (never metal – it will damage your nails!) gently coax the polish off the nail from cuticle to tip in short quick pushing motions.
Take a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover and run it along the cuticle edge to break the seal formed by the polish. Soak fingers in a bowl of warm water for at least 60 seconds and gentle coax polish from the nail. Soak again if necessary.
With all methods, if any small patches of polish remain on the nail remove with nail polish remover as usual. Should you have any further questions or queries don’t hesitate to contact us, we’re here to help.
